Naini Lake

Naina Devi Temple


 The temple is located on the northern shore mallital of Naini lake. The presiding deity of the temple Maa Naina Devi spoken to by two Netras or eyes. Alongside Naina Devi are the gods of Mata Kali Lord Ganesha. Nainital is accepted to be one of the 64 Shaktipeeths, where one of the body portions of Goddess Sati fell. In Nainital, the eyes (naina) of the Goddess are expected to have fallen.  The shrine of Naina Devi is a must visit for devout Hindus.



 Ropeway to Snow View point is one of the main attractions for tourists visiting nainital. High Altitude Zoo


Opened in 1994, it is one of the two High height Zoo in India,so remember to visit this spot in light of the fact that here you will see a portion of the creatures which you won’t see for the most part in different zoos across india.
